Tryouts Step 1 - Volleyball Alberta Registration

 

• • You must first register with Volleyball Alberta as a "Youth Development Player - Tryout" 
     

 

• • If signed for 2025-26 you will eventually register as a "Youth Competitive Player - Indoor"  You will be instructed to do this after signing an offer letter. 

 

• • This membership should be under the athlete's name - not the parent! 

 

• •  Membership covers Volleyball AB and Volleyball Canada fees 

 

• • For the region, choose "Zone 5- Black Gold/Yellowhead"

 

• • This MUST be completed prior to registering for WVC tryouts.  

 

• • You may already have a Sportlomo login from last year - use the same login and we recommend you not create a new profile

 

• • IMPORTANT - take a screenshot of your confirmation email with the type of registration showing. You may need to show this at the 1st day of tryouts in order to participate.

Tryouts Step 2 - WVC Registration

 

• • Click the button above for the appropriate registration form

 

• • Register for the age category you plan to try out for.  Some tryouts will be held together (i.e 14U and 15U). Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email from google forms.

 

• • We will email registered participants the schedule, locations and any necessary updates approximately 7-10 days ahead of November 30 - our schedule is not finalized until mid-November

 

• • This email will go to the EMAIL you put in the registration form! 

 

• • Be sure to block off November 30 - December 10 in your calendar. Tryouts will take place during those weekends AND some weekday evenings!
